Samuel Chukwueze is due in Italy soon ahead of a move to AC Milan but he will not fly out to join the squad in the USA, according to a report.
After weeks of negotiating between Milan and Villarreal, Chukwueze has finally been given ‘here we go’ status by Fabrizio Romano. The relevant documents are being exchanged and checked by the two sides, meaning it is only a matter of time.
MilanNews confirm that the Nigerian forward should land soon before undergoing his medical and signing his contract ahead of a move for an initial €20m plus €8m in bonuses, but he will not fly to the United States where the Milan are on tour.
The reason for this is that the time required to obtain the various work permits and visas for travelling to the USA is too long. The player will work at Milanello awaiting the return of Stefano Pioli’s squad.
