MN: Confident Chukwueze ‘here to win’ and ‘enter the history books of Milan’

By Oliver Fisher -

Fans are excited to see Samuel Chukwueze in competitive action for AC Milan, especially after the declarations from his first press conference.

MilanNews recall how Chukwueze said during his unveiling: “I’m here to win. I want to enter the history books of Milan, write my name among those who have won with this club.”

The Nigerian winger showed himself to be very sure of his abilities and those of the team, while from his body language and the early impressions it is also clear to see that he is always smiling, enthusiastic and has a lot of time for the fans.

He was afraid of too many questions and breathed a sigh of relief when they were finished, but in his answers there was not much shyness and fear. He wanted to make it known that he is ready.

Chukwueze said he’s at Milan to win trophies, something his frankness and his determined personality perhaps make obvious, and he didn’t hide his ambitions plus those of the club.

Now it’s time to leave words aside and focus on the pitch: the last friendlies will help refine understanding with his new team-mates and improve his condition, then Milan will have to get serious.

    1. Sounds dynamic on paper but against deep lying teams, not sure how effective they would be. That was our kryptonite last season (and every season that I can remember for that matter). So another Giroud-like profile would help.
