MN: Donnarumma’s renewal a matter of time – the strong project of Elliott has been an assist

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are confident that they will soon have Gianluigi Donnarumma’s signature on a new contract, according to a report.

MilanNews are reporting that Donnarumma has made it clear he wishes to stay at the club and extend his current deal which expires in June 2021, which means that ‘signing the contract becomes only a matter of time’.

The Rossoneri management believe that they will have Donnarumma’s signature on the renewal document by Christmas and it will be an extension until 2024 with a salary raise to reward one of the club’s leaders.

Mino Raiola is working on the details like clauses and individual bonuses, but a big part of the now smooth road is the fact that the Elliott Management project aims to bring the club back to the top.

The enthusiasm and the positive air at the club pushes Gigio towards an extension. For some people Milan are already a Scudetto contender, but at the very least they seem a team worthy of fighting for a Champions League place again.
