MN: Eight players clap Milan fans despite boos – Pioli straight down the tunnel

By Oliver Fisher -

If the recent bad form could have been described as a skid, AC Milan have now entered a crisis after their third defeat in four games as they lose 1-0 at home against Udinese tonight.

The 1-0 loss at home against Juventus and 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain set the alarm bells ringing, as did the 2-2 draw against Napoli after being 2-0 up, but losing to a winless side in front of a packed San Siro was a step too far for many.

MilanNews reports that there were some rather revealing scenes after the game as well. The fans booed the players after what was an abject performance, but eight of them still thanked them for their support.

They were as follows: Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Yacine Adli, Alessandro Florenzi, Tommaso Pobega and Mike Maignan. The rest of the squad went straight down the tunnel, in addition to head coach Stefano Pioli.

  1. This Milan management is a disgraceful what else we he take dis foolish management to sack dis useless coach pioli very irritating coach

  2. the management dont want to sack pioli, that will vindicate maldini and massara as been right and cardinale and scaroni as been wrong!… its a power struggle and ego problem on the part of the management…. maldini knew this coach time was up…now they will have to swallow their pride or else all hell will break loose….im sure milan cannot qualify for next season champions league

  3. in all honesty, pioli was never a top coach and for a reminder, he had never won any trophy EVER! in his life before IBRAHIMOVIC(emphasis added by me) inspired the boys and prophesied that he will make sure milan won the scudetto…..so in summary the management were asking too much of a dead dog in pioli….he was a failure personified….

  4. Pioli has nothing in his brain, all team are the same to him, no game plan kick the idiot out and bring IBRAHIMOVIC as coach, I bet you he will be the best, take a look at Xabi Alonso, xavi hannadez

    1. Lol Sheva. I respect the guy as a player because he was a beast. But as a coach, if you think Pioli is bad then Sheva is worst.

  5. I feel very bad about the losses. I think Maldini should come back. Pioli revived Milan; he shouldn’t be sacked just like that.
