MN: Entourage confirms Milan will sign Saelemaekers on permanent deal – the details

AC Milan have exercised their option to buy Alexis Saelemaekers and make him a Rossoneri player permanently, according to a report.

The Belgian wide man arrived at San Siro in the January transfer window on a loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to buy inserted in favour of Milan.

Although he has not had many opportunities to showcase his talent, the 21-year-old did look dynamic off the bench in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Roma.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Tuesday (via MilanNews) that the Rossoneri had already decided to sign Saelemaekers permanently from Anderlecht prior to his impressive performance agains the Giallorossi.

Now, MilanNews reporter Anto Vitiello has confirmed that – as per the entourage of the player – Milan will indeed be making Saelemaekers’ stay in Italy a permanent one once the season is over.

He can play multiple roles on the right side which certainly helps. He can act as a full-back or as a winger, ensuring hard work and good technical quality. Saelemaekers’ future is in red and black as a perfect embodiment of the future project.
