AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis was present at Milenello on Wednesday morning to deliver some important new to the team, a report claims.
As MilanNews notes among other sources, Gazidis attended today’s training together with Frederic Massara, the Milan sporting director.
The South African hadn’t been spotted at a training session since March 6 – something which was normal during the complete lockdown, but with the resumption of training it was imagined that he would visit the team.
However on Wednesday he was present and he spoke with the squad, announcing that the club has accepted the players’ proposal regarding a salary cut related to the suspension of the current season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, he followed the training session from the sidelines, where the team continued their preparation phase for the return leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final clash against Juventus in Turin on Friday, which has been confirmed as a 21:00 CEST kick off.
