AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is likely to be able to call upon Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Thursday’s trip to face Shamrock Rovers, a report claims.
The Swede missed the last two friendly matches against Vicenza and Brescia due to a bruised leg, and Calciomercato.com reported earlier today how Pioli does not want to take the slightest risk especially with the Serie A opener being on Monday 21st against Bologna.
They added that 18-year-old centre-forward Lorenzo Colombo could step into Ibrahimovic’s place, one of two top scorers in the preseason with three goals in three games.

The 38-year-old, in fact, begun Monday morning’s training session with the rest of the group rather than training alone, a big sign that he is expected to play on Thursday against Shamrock Rovers.
