MN: Good news for Milan ahead of Juventus clash as striker should be fit to face former team

By Oliver Fisher -

A boost has arrived for AC Milan in view of Sunday’s crucial game against Juventus in Turin as Mario Mandzukic has recovered.

Milan will make the trip north towards the Alps knowing that they have four cup finals between now and the end of the season, and they will need preferably four favourable results in order to secure a top four finish that has never been more in doubt.

Ahead of the game, MilanNews have provided some good news on the infirmary front as striker Mario Mandzukic has disposed of the bronchitis that had forced him to miss the match against Benevento at the weekend.

The Croatian returned to training in a group with the rest of the squad today at Milanello, and it seems therefore that he will be available for the Rossoneri’s trip north, where he will face off against his former team where he spent four years from 2015 to 2019.

  1. What kind of good news is that? What contribution did Mandzukic give? Did he score many goals since arriving? Did he create a ton of assists ?
He has contributed nothing since arriving, why should it be a good news for us? For juve maybe yes, since they know this player will not make any difference
