AC Milan are very close to being able to announce the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as an agreement has been reached, a report claims.
MilanNews writes that the Rossoneri and the Swede will have ‘one more year together’. In recent weeks the Swedish striker has negotiated the renewal of the contract with the Rossoneri management and in the last few days they have reached an agreement over a year-long extension.
Final details are still to be fully confirmed such as the bonuses and individual targets to be included in the contract, but it is expected to be announced shortly that the 39-year-old will stay at the club for the 2021-22 season.
The report describes the signing as an important signal from the club that they want to give continuity to the current project, starting from their leader and the most decisive player in the team. Ibrahimovic and Milan will therefore remain together.
