AC Milan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have finally reached an agreement over a new one-year deal, according to a report.
The vast majority of the Milan squad have reported for preseason at Milanello but Zlatan Ibrahimovic was not one of them, as the saga over his renewal has continued to drag on days and weeks past the point many thought it would.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews though, Ibrahimovic will stay at Milan for another season. A definitive agreement has been reached between the Rossoneri and the Swede for the renewal.
A meeting point was reached between what the player was asking for (€7million net) and the club’s offer, using the tax relief of the growth decree in order to ensure the striker is satisfied.
Ibrahimovic will earn €6m in his new Milan contract in addition to €0.5m in bonuses and another €0.5m in the case of Champions League qualification.
