MN: Ibrahimovic comes back to Milan’s rescue – he will return against his old friends Man Utd

By Oliver Fisher -

Whether it be from the start or off the bench, it seems AC Milan will welcome back their leader Zlatan Ibrahimovic tomorrow night against Manchester United.

As MilanNews writes, the Rossoneri have had repeatedly bad luck this season with injury after injury denting and eventually overwhelming their title push, but there is still plenty to fight for and players are coming back.

Ismael Bennacer is among those returning, but Stefano Pioli could be without Rebic, Leao, Calabria and Romagnoli for the game against the Red Devils, though the headlines will all be about the Swede.

The 39-year-old has a great desire to return as a protagonist and the Rossoneri fans have the desire to cheer his goals again, but Milan know that they must be cautious and not rush the comeback.

Pioli has not yet chosen the 11 Rossoneri who will face United, and will wait for tomorrow morning to understand the physical conditions of the forwards available. Rebic and Leao both have not trained with the rest of the team and their presence is in doubt, but if at least one of the two players can be used against Manchester, then they will start and Zlatan will be on the bench.
