Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not yet made any decisions on his future at AC Milan and a lot will depend on his meeting with CEO Ivan Gazidis, a report claims.
Ibrahimovic is currently training with Hammarby, the team he co-owns, so therefore he is in optimal condition for when the green light is received to return to Italy and resume training with Milan.
However, Ibra has not yet cleared his reservations about the future. As MilanNews reports, a lot will depend on the conversation he will have with Ivan Gazidis on his return to Milan.
The face-to-face will be fundamental and Zlatan will want to understand the real intentions of the club, who will be the next coach (with Ralf Rangnick in absolute pole position), if the team will be competitive and what kind of a mercato will be carried out.
Milan for their part knows how important it is to have a very valuable element like Ibra in the squad, the report continues, not only to win games but also to raise the bar in training and in the dressing room.
Ultimately though it will be the player who makes the final call based on the talks he will have with Gazidis. Now that Boban has been dismissed from Milan for internal clashes with Gazidis and Maldini could also leave at the end of the year – the figures who convinced him to return – Ibra will have to deal with the CEO and find the right conditions to continue.
