Simon Kjaer is the favourite to start over Fikayo Tomori in the heart of Milan’s defence tomorrow night against Spezia, a report claims.
Milan travel to Liguria knowing that a win will mean they stay above Inter ahead of next weekend’s derby against Inter, and with a few players having returned recently it makes Stefano Pioli’s selection a bit less straightforward.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Simon Kjaer – who has returned to the squad after recovering from his injury in the derby – is ahead of Fikayo Tomori in terms of the battle for a starting spot in tomorrow’s match.
The Dane should take back the slot alongside Alessio Romagnoli, while Tomori would consequently go to the bench. The Chelsea loanee has impressed in his last couple of starts, but he will get more space given the Europa League returns next Thursday night with the trip to face Red Star.
