The AC Milan coaching staff are waiting with baited breath to find out the extent of the injury sustained by Simon Kjaer.
Kjaer pulled up with an injury while Celtic were on the attack during the opening stages of last night’s 4-2 win, and the move ended with Tom Rogic shooting wide despite calls for the ball to go out.
The Dane was unable to continue and Milan were forced into their first change as Alessio Romagnoli came on in his place, but now attention has turned to Kjaer’s condition.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the 31-year-old sustained a muscle problem in his right thigh. In the next few hours the usual exams will be carried out to understand the extent of the injury.
It comes after Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Leao both sustained muscle problems that have kept them out for the last fortnight.
