AC Milan head into the game against Juventus on Sunday hoping to have three injured players back, and some developments have come from Milanello to that effect.
According to MilanNews, Rade Krunic, Pierre Kalulu and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are continuing their recovery work on the pitch at Milanello after the team reconvened for training today following a two-day break.
It is common practice for those who – having recovered from their injury – must get their physical condition and match fitness back which they lost during the period spent in the treatment room.
The hope for Pioli is that he has the trio back and available as soon as Sunday’s game, given that the Juve match will be followed by away trips to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and Napoli in Serie A.
Kalulu gives some depth in the defensive department, while the midfield has been stretched numbers-wise while Krunic and Loftus-Cheek have been out.
