MN: Marseille star with ‘very interesting characteristics’ has ‘bewitched’ Milan management

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have picked out Marseille star Boubacar Kamara as the ideal solution for the midfield department, according to a report.

According to MilanNews, Milan are aiming to secure the renewal of Franck Kessie before the season starts and also sign Sandro Tonali on a permanent basis, but given that both Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will leave for a month to join their countries for the African Cup of Nations, another signing will be needed.

The report claims that Kamara from Marseille is the hottest name to complete the department, because he has ‘very interesting characteristics’ that have ‘bewitched’ chief scout Geoffrey Moncada and have convinced directors Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini as well.

He is also a player with flexibility and versatility because Kamara can play as a centre-back as well as the defensive midfield role, while the fact his contract expires in 2022 certainly gives some leverage in negotiations.
