MN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s son Maximilian trains with Milan’s first team

By Oliver Fisher -

There was a rather interesting new face at training this morning as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s son Maximilian joined the first team, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Maximilian Ibrahimovic was present at Milanello today to train with the rest of the senior side, who were having their final session before leaving for Prague.

The report describes it as quite a strange situation, given that the young forward has not been called up for the trip to face Slavia Praha in the Europa League last 16 second leg tomorrow.

Moreover, today at 16:00 CET the Primavera will host Real Madrid at the PUMA House of Football in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League, and it means he will not be involved in that either.

Max is a winger who has made 16 appearances this season with the U18s so far this season. He loves to go at the left-back, cut inside and shoot on goal, as demonstrated by one of the various videos circulating on the internet.

He and Zlatan also played a ‘match’ together. Last year, during a training session between the first team and the Rossoneri youth teams, the father and son were in attack together. Zlatan insisted they play on the same team, so he didn’t get injured.
