MN: Milan at work to reward Giroud as his overtime shift continues

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working to extend the contract of Olivier Giroud as the management want to reward him for his impact since arriving at the club, a report claims.

MilanNews report that Giroud is working overtime at the moment given that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s return is expected after the World Cup, Ante Rebic is struggling with a slipped disc and Divock Origi has returned to Belgium to solve discomfort in his tendon.

Milan have appreciated his work a lot in recent months and are working to extend his contract for at least another season, with his current deal set to expire in June 2023.

The Frenchman was decisive against Sampdoria as he won and converted the penalty that earned all three points, and he has scored other huge goals for Stefano Pioli’s side, and as such Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are at work to secure his stay beyond the end of the season.

  1. Instead of planning of a new striker, we are here waiting to extend a 36 year old, waiting on 40 year old and waiting on plastic Origi.

MALDINI!! MILAN HAVE NOT HAD A GOOD NUMBER 9 IN YEARS!!!? When have we had a striker win the highest goal scorer, the last person was IBRA in his final season in Milan before he came back.

We need a 20+ goal number9, every European club have one, So the dream should be the idea of getting at a number 9 between 35-55m and not putting the faith in old men
