MN: Milan attacker looking more and more likely to leave this summer

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan attacker Ante Rebic seems to be getting closer and closer to the exit door with the club becoming tired of his performance levels, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Croatian winger has not done what Stefano Pioli needed of him this season. The plan was for him to provide competition and cover for Rafael Leao, but he has not impressed.

On top of that, his attitude has not been as good as the club would expect, meaning his effort levels are supposedly not on a par with the rest of the squad.

That means Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are very willing to let him leave the club this summer, given he is being paid €3 million per season and still has two years left on his deal.

His agent may soon be told to start drumming up interest from clubs in the Croatian forward.

    1. Man he was so good. Leao has made us forgot that he used to be that guy in the left. In fact he was on the left, middle, upfront. His movements were what him so dangerous. Defenders didnt know what to do and he was so agile. Unfortunately being so agile is ripe for hernia type injury and it’s so unfortunate. I like his game.alot

      1. Sad but true. He was excellent for the first 2 seasons. Had a great goal conversion ratio and didn’t miss much chances. Then came the injuries (and Leao) and then it went downhill.

Sad to see him go but it’s necessary. I doubt he’d get back to being the better version of himself in Milan with scrappy minutes every now and then.

        1. And the willingness to work for the team is the thing we’ll be missing the most. That guy runs and fights for two players. Kind of like Cutrone. Always gave his 100% (or more) for the team.

  1. Better release him free if no suitor/buyer. His attitude are angry & high temper. His performance last season & this season are awful and with age 30 he have only 3-5m euro value transfer fee
