AC Milan duo Mateo Musacchio and Hakan Calhanoglu will both be called up by head coach Stefano Pioli for Saturday’s trip to face Fiorentina, a report claims.
Pioli has an injury crisis of sorts to deal with, with reports circulating in the last 48 hours stating that Simon Kjaer, Lucas Biglia, Rade Krunic as well perhaps even Musacchio Calhanoglu are all set to miss the game.
The 54-year-old went some way to addressing that in his pre-match press conference earlier on Friday, claiming that Duarte, Biglia, Krunic and Kjaer are the four that will miss out.
According to the latest from MilanNews, this morning at Milanello the team carried out the finishing touches in view of tomorrow’s game against La Viola.
As happened yesterday, Calhanoglu and Musacchio also trained with the rest of their team-mates. The two will therefore be regularly called up for the match at the Artemio Franchi, though it remains to be seen whether they will start. La Gazzetta dello Sport believe they will not.
