AC Milan have confirmed the best case scenario regarding Ante Rebic as the winger has avoided a fracture in his arm.
Milan managed to beat Crotone comfortably on Sunday evening, securing the three points with the same scoreline as in the league opener. However, it wasn’t all good for the Rossoneri, as Rebic left the pitch injured.
The Croatian was tripped and fell to the ground in the second half, landing badly on his left arm. Immediately, you could see that it was a serious injury and the No.12 made his way to the locker room straight away.
Numerous sources then confirmed that Rebic dislocated his left elbow and went to the hospital to examine the matter further, having had his elbow put back in place in the locker room by the medical staff.
Now, Milan have confirmed that Rebic underwent a CT scan that confirmed the absence of fractures and further investigations that excluded peripheral vascular-nerve complications. Therefore, specialist evaluation is scheduled in about ten days.
