MN: Milan’s Curva Sud continue helping flood victims in Emilia Romagna

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan’s Curva Sud fans have continued their efforts to help those affected by the recent flooding in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, a report claims.

As reported by Milan News, Curva Sud Milano have used Instagram to provide another update about the ongoing work for those worst affected by the rain and flooding in late May and early July.

The rain was almost non-stop for too long in many parts of the country, but Emilia Romagna was the worst affected. The destruction in the area was serious enough that the Emilia Romagna Formula One race was cancelled so that the emergency services could focus entirely on the weather.

Many groups and individuals sprung into charitable life and Milan’s Curva Sud did the same. As the statement reads, fans delivered dryers, computers, printers and sporting goods to the region which can help life return to normal.

The statement read: “Our commitment in the flooded areas continues. Today our boys delivered dryers, computers, printers and sporting goods at ASD Solarolo to help the young people of these territories restart, starting right from sport. Much of this material was bought thanks to the donations made by all of you Rossoneri, so as always, thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
