MN: Milan expected to sign a new winger this summer – two profiles from France monitored

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will sign a new right winger this summer who can perhaps be viewed as a contract to what Alexis Saelemaekers offers, a report claims.

There seems to be a mutual agreement among large sections of the fanbase and the media that Milan are in desperate need of a new right winger. Saelemaekers is a useful system player and Samu Castillejo has been used plenty too, but neither offer the attacking quality needed for a team that has aspirations of winning a trophy.

According to the latest from MilanNews, the Rossoneri management are not only determined to try and sign a young striker in addition to Olivier Giroud, but they also want to bolster the right wing position too with the signing of a player with ‘strong offensive skills’.

Two names in particular are mentioned by the report: Amine Adli from Toulouse, who won Player of the Year in Ligue 2 last season after a breakout campaign, and Jonathan Ikone who was a big part of Lille’s title-winning side.
