MN: Milan handed centre-back boost ahead of Sampdoria game

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan squad had a training session at Milanello this morning in view of Saturday’s game against Sampdoria at San Siro.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Malick Thiaw trained regularly with the squad and will therefore be fully available for the match against Samp, whose relegation to Serie B was recently confirmed.

It was during the 64th minute of the game on Tuesday night that Thiaw appeared in some discomfort after he went for a tackle and his knee buckled slightly. The medical staff came on to take a look and he even continued playing before being forced off, but it turns out that it was just a case of cramp.

In other news, Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued with his individual work and it is looking more and more likely that he might have played his last game of the season after sustaining a calf issue a few weeks ago.
