Talks are ongoing between AC Milan and the agent of Diego Laxalt who could return to the club soon, according to a report.
Laxalt joined Torino on loan with an option to buy at the beginning of the season and has made 15 appearances for the Granata in all competitions, though there have been no indications whether they are looking to trigger their option.
According to Anto Vitiello of MilanNews.it, there are currently talks being held between Milan and the Uruguay international’s representatives over the potential of an early return.
This is because another Milan left-back is closing in on an exit: namely Ricardo Rodriguez. Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven held talks over a deal for the Swiss international on Tuesday, while numerous reports have since emerged claiming Fenerbahce have not given up on their pursuit.
His agent Gianluca Di Domenico arrived that the club’s Casa Milan headquarters to present an offer from the Turkish side, but either way it seems he will be leaving this month and Milan will need cover in that position again, for which Laxalt could be an easy and free option.
