MN: Milan in talks with Real Madrid over Brahim Diaz’s future – the two options on the table

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in continuous contacts with Real Madrid over the future of playmaker Brahim Diaz with two options on the table, a report claims.

The Spaniard joined on a season-long dry loan from Real Madrid and has now amassed three goals for the Rossoneri across all competitions and five across club and international duty in the month of October.

As MilanNews reports, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are well aware that the constant improvement of Brahim Diaz is also being watched closely by Real Madrid.

There is a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with the LaLiga giants – one stipulated thanks to the intermediation of agent Edoardo Crnjar of Excellence Sport – in which the two clubs will discuss the idea of Brahim staying at Milan.

Relations between the two clubs and with the player’s representatives are excellent which is a big advantage for Milan, who would like to find a meeting point with Real before the end of the season.

There are two options under consideration at the moment, MilanNews add. The first is a renewal of the loan until summer 2022 but this time with a purchase option for Milan (and possible counter-option at a high amount exercisable by Real Madrid), or a definitive purchase by the Rossoneri.

There is plenty of time to discuss, but the 21-year-old falls well within the global vision of Milan’s ownership and with every good performance his value rises.
