MN: Milan leading the chase for €10m French winger – why they have an advantage

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are leading the pack of teams who are chasing Toulouse winger Amine Adli, according to a report.

MilanNews writes that there are many teams who are interested in Adli after a fantastic season, but Milan are certainly the most welcome destination because of the prestige of the club but also because there is already a French presence with Theo Hernandez, Pierre Kalulu and the newcomer Mike Maignan plus other French-speaking players.

Adli is a name that has long been scouted by the Rossoneri who are always on the lookout for young talent, and the figure needed to complete the operation does not seem too much: €10m or less could be enough to strike a deal with Toulouse. For Milan, it would be a purchase in line with the Elliott project and the fact the player can play different roles – such as right winger and playmaker – means he would be useful to head coach Stefano Pioli.
