MN: Milan monitoring €10m-rated Argentine striker – exploratory surveys made

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are admirers of San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Gaich but are not in any talks with his agent, according to a report.

It is no secret that the Rossoneri are in the market to reinforce their attacking department this summer given the uncertainty over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Gaich is a name who has been persistently linked with Milan.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported earlier on Thursday that the Rossoneri have been on Gaich’s tail for quite some time and have initiated contacts with San Lorenzo and the player’s agent, as a price tag of around €15m has been set.

According to MilanNews, the club’s management are carefully monitoring his situation but have never gone beyond the simple exploratory survey.

The asking price should not exceed €10million – a request certainly not exorbitant but still significant enough considering the youngster would not arrive to play immediately and consistently.

The positive reports from Rossoneri scouts mean that the club are keeping tabs on his development, and Gaich may not be the priority but he is nonetheless an opportunity to bring another talent to grow and enhance.
