MN: Milan need consistency back from Calhanoglu as his performances continue to fluctuate

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have once again been found looking for some consistency from Hakan Calhanoglu, as the playmaker’s recent form continues to fluctuate.

As MilanNews writes, Calhanoglu’s four seasons so far at Milan have been anything but stable and straightforward due to the number of changes on the bench, plus the numerous tactical and corporate revolutions inevitably that have undoubtedly effected the continuity not only of the playmaker but also of the entire Rossoneri team.

With a strong management and a leader on the pitch like Ibrahimovic, both Calhanoglu and Milan have improved their performances and results, but the fact remains that the Turkey international still seems to be a rather fluctuating playe.

As the report mentions, bad luck has struck the former Leverkusen several times this season with injuries and Coronavirus, but the Calhanoglu seen in his national team and in the first part of the season show that only commitment and hard work can guarantee praise.

Before the Sampdoria game, numerous squad members remarked that there were 10 games remaining that they treat as nine finals, but the team didn’t show up against Samp and neither did Calhanoglu. Now the concentration goes to the remaining nine games, so Milan and Calhanoglu must roll up their sleeves – throwing away the good things done this season is not an option.
