MN: Milan’s probable XI for PSV friendly – Pioli must decide one battle

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on PSV Eindhoven away from home tomorrow at 18:15 CET. It’s their final friendly ahead of the season resumption and fortunately, Stefano Pioli will be able to field a strong XI.

Given that it’s the final test before the action starts again, it’s very positive that Pioli has a good starting eleven to field and prepare for the Salernitana clash. The players we see tomorrow could very well start on January 4th as well.

According to MilanNews, Ciprian Tatarusanu is the favourite to start in goal as Mike Maignan remains injured. Since Theo Hernandez is still on vacation, scheduled to return tomorrow, Serginho Dest will be the left-back.

Other than that, the XI is pretty much what you would expect, with Ante Rebic up front and Rafael Leao on the left flank. Brahim Diaz and Charles De Ketelaere are still battling it out for the No.10 role; a battle that will be decided tomorrow.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Dest; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere/Diaz, Leao; Rebic.
