MN: Milan serious about landing 19-year-old striker as two concrete hypotheses emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are serious about landing Santos striker Kaio Jorge and there are two concrete possibilities on the table, according to a report.

MilanNews confirms other indiscretions that Milan are pushing to sign Jorge, a 19-year-old talent owned by Santos. After Olivier Giroud, the management want to give Stefano Pioli a young centre-forward who has high potential and the Brazilian occupies the spot of number one target.

At the moment there are two possible solutions: either Jorge could arrive in January on a free transfer as his contract with Santos will expire in December, or the management could move early to sign him this summer for around €10m, even if the main stumbling block is represented by the commissions his agents want.

Milan are working on both possibilities and it depends on the evolution of the negotiation and on whether any of the competition move concretely, as the teenager is also tempting to other European clubs. Nonetheless, Maldini and Massara’s intentions are clear: the sign a young striker.

  1. Now they need to start selling dead wood. To be specific

    Krunic
    Castillejo
Romagnoli (Give Gabbia a Chance, i liked him last season)
Conti (if he is not convincing in preseason)
Leao( if we need the money that much)
    Caldara (just because)

Between these deals i see 50-60m on the table

  2. Hard to sell when they are flops. Milan insists with krunic, castilejo etc just maybe they do a good game and can sell but nobody wants them..
Instead, use Hauge, Maldini, Colombo, robak.. maybe one of them explode and if not, at least they would be better than these flops
