MN: Milan set for midfield revolution this summer – the potential exits and signings

By Isak Möller -

From expiring contracts to potential sales, there could be a midfield revolution at AC Milan this summer. Giacomo Bonaventura and Lucas Biglia will both leave, as the Rossoneri are unwilling to offer them new deals.

As MilanNews.it continues, Lucas Paqueta’s future is also hanging in the balance, with Benfica and Fiorentina interested in his services. The same goes for Franck Kessie, who has attracted the interest of a few Premier League clubs.

Rade Krunic could also be thrown into the mix, as he hasn’t fully convinced Milan thus far. Probably, Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu are the only midfielders that are safe, considered important for the new project.

This summer, Milan will try to add two midfielders with different characteristics to the squad. Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard is on their radar but RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai is the priority.

In addition to them, the Rossoneri are also monitoring Florentino Luis (Benfica), Teun Koopmeiners (AZ Alkmaar), Tiémoué Bakayoko (Chelsea), Imran Louza (Nantes) and Khéphren Thuram (Nice).
