MN: Milan to announce Emirates renewal and more new sponsors as Gazidis finally delivers

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have closed a deal with main sponsors Emirates to extend the current agreement, according to a report.

It was reported back in February by MilanNews.it that a new deal between the two parties was close to being signed, and that there are ‘rumours’ that the new deal between Milan and Emirates will be worth between 28% and 30% of the one currently in operation.

According to the latest from the same outlet, the agreement between Milan and brokering platform ROinvesting – announced earlier in the week – will not be the only announcement to arrive from the club.

Within a few weeks, new sponsors will be revealed, including a renewal with Emirates until June 2022, currently not yet official. These will of course be a series of announcements that run counter to the complicated period that the world of football is experiencing due to the Coronavirus emergency.

However, the Rossoneri’s commercial team – led by Ivan Gazidis and strengthened with the additions of Casper Stylsvig, James Murray and Alex Rasmussen – has finally produced a result for the club. There will still be work to increase revenues and try to reach the levels of Juve and Inter, however.
