MN: Milan to complete permanent signing of versatile Belgian for four key reasons

By Oliver Fisher -

Alexis Saelemaekers’ future is at Milan, a report claims, something that was decided before his dynamic display against Roma.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri had already decided to sign the Belgian permanently from Anderlecht prior to his impressive performance agains the Giallorossi.

That is because the 21-year-old has all the requisites requested by Elliott Management Corporation: he is young, has potential and an affordable transfer fee.

After having invested €3.5million for the paid loan, Milan will only have to spend another €3.7m to buy him outright – a figure well within reach and an investment that could turn out to be a bargain.

Saelemaekers can play multiple roles on the right side which certainly helps. He can act as a full-back or as a winger, ensuring hard work and good technical quality. Saelemaekers’ future is in red and black as a perfect embodiment of the future project.
