Paris Saint-Germain look most likely to close a deal for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko at present having made a large bid.
During his latest editorial for MilanNews, Franco Ordine confirms discretions from both Italy and France that Leonardo has made a sizeable offer for Bakayoko.
The former Milan sporting director has put on the plate a paid loan of €5m plus an option to buy at €40m, and are now in negotiations with both the player and Chelsea.
Ordine references a post on social media in which the midfielder made a reference to time running out, which could be construed as a hint at Milan that his future is about to be decided.
His arrival at Milanello would have completed the midfield department, but at this point either Rade Krunic remains as a stopgap, or another profile will be signing, but it will likely be one technically inferior to Bakayoko.
