Alvaro Morata is back working on the field at Milanello and a target has been set for his return to competition action with AC Milan, a report claims.
MilanNews writes that despite Paulo Fonseca giving four days of rest to the squad (training will resume on Monday afternoon), Morata still showed up at Milanello today to continue recovering from the muscle problem that kept him out of the last two games against Parma and Lazio.
As shown in the video published by the Spanish player himself, the new Milan No.7 trained this morning in the pouring rain. Morata, who scored on his debut against Torino, will be available again to Fonseca after the international break.
In addition to his goals, the Spaniard will also have to bring his experience and leadership to the field to help Milan get out of this difficult moment, which has seen them go without a win in their first three Serie A games.

That’s what I call dedication, determination and grinta.
Forza! ♥️🖤
Shouldn’t Morata be in studio making his first album instead? Oh right, that’s not what footballers do.
Milan should sell Theo and Leao. Clearly they have lost interest in playing for this new coach. Thanks for the dedication all these years.
Replace Theo for Kiwior and Leao for Sasuolo’s Lloriente. Noah should fill the space too and we keep pulisic at right wing.
The coach can only be successful if the players listen to him and follow his instructions. Any player who does not want to play under the coach should be sold and replaced asap.
thats got to be one of the worst opinions theo for kiwior rafa for lariente sorry kiwior isnt a starter loriente got relegated with sassualo
Turn the drama a notch down. They will figure things out, it’s not in anyone’s interest for this drama to continue. They showed their displeasure and literally the whole football community ate them for breakfast. Lesson learned and move on with our lives.
Also, we were not there. There’s wrong and right approach to dealing with these situations – Pioli had many ‘wow’ decisions similar to that, but players showed similar displeasure on 2-3 cases in total for several years. Fonseca managed to get this response in his 3rd week. It is a childish response from Theo and Leao but it probably could have been handled better by the manager as well.
