MN: Probable Milan XI to face Cremonese – four changes from Spezia win

Some strong clues have arrived regarding the starting line-up that Stefano Pioli should field for tonight’s game against Cremonese, a report claims.

MilanNews writes that Pioli will have to do without Olivier Giroud, sent off for a second yellow card against Spezia after scoring the winner, so Divock Origi will take his place. Behind the Belgian it should Ante Rebic on the left and Junior Messias on the right, with Brahim Diaz currently the favourite over Charles De Ketelaere to start as the No.10.

The first choice double pivot of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer should return to the midfield meanwhile, with Aster Vranckx, Rade Krunic and Tommaso Pobega on the bench, ready to come on if the game dictates.

Theo Hernandez will miss the game due to suspension having racked up too many yellow cards and in his place will be Fode Ballo-Touré. Simon Kjaer returns to the centre of defence, alongside Fikayo Tomori, with Pierre Kalulu completing the back four ahead of Ciprian Tatarusanu.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Tomori, Ballo-Touré; Bennacer, Tonali; Messias, Diaz, Rebic; Origi.
