MN: Probable Milan XI to face PSV – only one doubt for Pioli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will play in their final winter friendly tomorrow as they make the trip to face PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and some team news has emerged.

Milan will face PSV in their last test prior to the resumption of the Serie A season when the Rossoneri will play against Salernitana at the Arechi on January 4, and the squad is looking more complete than it did for the Arsenal and Liverpool games in Dubai earlier this month.

MilanNews are reporting that Ciprian Tatarusanu will be in goal with a back four ahead of him consisting of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Sergino Dest from right to left.

Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer should be the midfield double pivot with Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing, Rafael Leao on the left wing and Ante Rebic leading the line. The one doubt is about whether Brahim Diaz or Charles De Ketelaere will be the playmaker.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Dest; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz/De Ketelaere, Leao; Rebic.

  1. So, not only CDK isn’t going to play from the start as a striker with Giroud needing rest and Origi injured, but he will also be benched by Brahim Diaz at the n10 spot.
    Same ‘ol Same ‘ol.
Hopefully he comes good with time but based on the money paid and the expectations he came in with, up to this point, 6 months into his Milan career, he might be the frontrunner for the biggest bust in Milan history
