MN: Probable starting XIs for Milan vs. Roma – Pioli forced into late change after COVID tests

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will be forced to tweak his starting line-up for Monday’s game against Roma after the news that Gianluigi Donnarumma has Coronavirus.

Via a statement on the official website, the club have announced that after undergoing tests last night Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jens Petter Hauge and three coaching staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

They become the latest to be hit by the virus after defenders Matteo Gabbia and Leo Duarte and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This means that Tatarusanu is in line for his first competitive appearance for Milan as he will likely take Donnarumma’s place in net.

As per MilanNews, these are the two probable starting line-ups for the game, which kicks off at 20:45 CEST.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Leao; Ibrahimovic.

Probable Roma XI (3-4-2-1): Mirante; Ibanez, Mancini, Kumbulla; Santon, Veretout, Pellegrini, Spinazzola; Pedro, Mkhitaryan; Dzeko.
