AC Milan are once again in talks over the situation regarding a new deal for Gianluigi Donnarumma with a new solution suggested, it is claimed.
According to MilanNews reporter Anto Vitiello, Milan have reopened a dialogue with agent Mino Raiola to try to find the most suitable solution.
Donnarumma wants to stay at Milan, while Raiola is hoping to push him towards leaving for a club in the Champions League, not only for a better salary but also to help his career.
Milan have therefore proposed alternative solutions, such as an extension with a release clause or a shorter renewal with the promise to readdress the issue in one or two years when the balance of world football will be stable.
There is not a line of clubs queuing up to sign the 21-year-old, not because Donnarumma is a low value player – quite the opposite – but because Milan are not budging from their requests of €50million to sell this summer and it is a fee that most clubs simply cannot afford to spend, especially on a keeper.
