MN: Rangnick wants to bring 18-20 staff to Milan – Gazidis at work to solve key issue

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick wants to bring a huge number of collaborators with him if he is to accept a role at AC Milan this summer, a report claims.

According to Pietro Mazzara’s latest for MilanNews, the fact that Milan and Rangnick are soon to begin a partnership together is no longer a mystery.

The German was chosen by the ownership, in particular Gordon Singer, and also endorsed by Ivan Gazidis, but in order to be able to fully execute his plan Rangnick will have to be invested in with full powers and without any restrictions and/or invasions.

That’s why in the definition of the agreement, which has not yet been officially signed, there is talk of the staff that Rangnick would like to bring with him to Milan.

The 61-year-old wants to bring a real team of trusted collaborators divided between those who will help him on the training pitch and those who will sit in the offices, scouting players and analysing data.

We are talking a number in the region of 18-20 collaborators that Rangnick would like to bring to Milanello and Casa Milan, where he would also like his own office a – very large number, which Gazidis would like to try to whittle down a bit.

However the Rangnick method has undoubtedly worked so far thanks to the loyalty of the men surrounding him, who share his visions and ideas.
