MN: Rebic not training with Milan squad; start vs. Hellas unlikely

By Oliver Fisher -

New signing Ante Rebic has arrived in Milano to begin his new adventure with the Rossoneri but will not train with the rest of the group, a report claims.

Rebic joined Milan on deadline day last week, arriving on a two-year loan deal from Eintracht Frankfurt with an option to buy as Andre Silva headed the other way to Germany.

He signed his contract with the club before jetting off to join up with the Croatia national team, meaning Wednesday will provide the first opportunity for him to meat his new team-mates.

However, as MilanNews.it notes, Rebic did not train with the rest the squad in the session that started at Milanello this morning (at 10:30am CEST).

Instead, the 25-year-old carried out personalised work to help him recover from international duty, reducing the chances of him featuring against Hellas Verona this coming Sunday.

Also absent from group training for the same reason were Matteo Gabbia, Franck Kessie, Rafael Leao, Hakan Calhanoglu and Lucas Paquetà.
