Real Madrid will ultimately decide the fate of attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz, a report claims, but AC Milan hold some hope.
The attacking midfielder joined on loan from Real Madrid earlier in the month, and while it is officially a dry loan a number of reliable sources have confirmed that the Rossoneri will enter discussions with Los Blancos over a permanent deal as the season progresses.
According to MilanNews, the formula is indeed a dry loan and Milan in fact do not have any option to buy, so consequently they will have to negotiate with Real Madrid if they decide they want to try and keep the Spain U21 international.
However, there is hope. The Ante Rebic operation makes it clear that even a simple loan can be transformed into a permanent transfer, but it is clear that much of the player’s fate will depend on the will of Los Blancos, who hold all the cards.
