The AC Milan squad spent last night at Milanello in preparation for this morning’s training session after losing to Torino in the cup, a report claims.
After throwing away a two-goal lead against Roma at the weekend it was important for a response to arrive under the lights of San Siro, but it was yet another abject and worrying performance as Milan failed to score in 120 minutes of action and conceded a goal on the counter-attack in the second half of extra time to be knocked out by Torino.
MilanNews report that the players usually head home after every game, even the ones that finish late at night, but the squad decided to go to Milanello immediately after the defeat in the Coppa Italia against Torino.
The Rossoneri players opted to sleep at the Carnago sports centre, waiting for tomorrow morning’s training session when they will analyse in detail what went wrong against Torino.
