MN: Theo and Maignan among four Milan players set to train at Milanello this week

This summer saw the European Championship take place, which has meant that Paulo Fonseca has been without several of AC Milan’s key players, but four players are set to make an appearance at Milanello this week to begin training.

Following their elimination from the European Championship, Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan and Tijjani Reijnders all took a well-earned holiday, after a gruelling season of club and international football, but with the season approaching they are due to return shortly.

A report from Milan News has stated that the French duo are back in Milan today, but will not be present at Milanello until Saturday, where they will meet with Reijnders and new signing Strahinja Pavlovic.

Although the majority of the squad is in America, there is no reason for the four players to travel to the States, given there is only one fixture left to play on the tour – the game against Barcelona.

According to the report, the four players will work together until the team returns, but their exact programmes have not been confirmed. However, it is imagined it will be mainly physical and tactical work, to ensure that the players are in the right condition to begin work under Fonseca.
