This season, many have been rightly critical of AC Milan’s performances, but their win against Udinese was a sign of something different, as Riccardo Montolivo states.
There have been too many occasions this season where Milan have allowed themselves to be naive – whether that be in their approach to a game, or how they are in the game itself. However, against Udinese, this was not the case.

Instead, the Rossoneri took the driving seat and dominated proceedings, showing a correct amount of balance in both phases of the game. Furthermore, key players shone, as they have needed to all season.
It is a huge result for the club, proving that the stars still hold the same quality that we all know they do. But it goes beyond that too. Milan, once again, now have a platform to build from, and some versatility, and Montolivo spoke to Sky about the win, via Milan News.
“In Udine, Milan found balance, which is already news given the recent results. The Rossoneri were able to exploit the potential of their top players like Theo and Leao, and that’s not a given. If you have players who are counter-attackers, then you create opportunities to do so, but not just sporadically, you have to do it all the time.

The annoying thing is why did it take this long?
I watched Serbia many times, where Pavlovic plays as left central defender in 3 man defence or as a left back. So he used to moving to Midfeild positions. This is the reason Pavlovic why Pavlovic made us to concede silly goals this season because he is uses to pushing forward as a defender which can be accommodated with 3 center backs.
I have always have problem with the way Theo plays as a left back since Pioli times. I feel he just a wing back and when we had Salaemakers whe have 2 perfe t wing backs that Pioli failed to use.

Gimenez is a good striker, but I always had my reservations and stated clearly that Gyokeres was the one we should have gone for.
I remember calling for Floran Wirtz and Adeyemi before their price tags tripled, now they are completely out of reach.
I still believe Gimenez is decent enough to lead the line anyway. He is good.
