GdS: Monza still hold an interest in Milan midfielder Bakayoko

By Euan Burns -

Monza still hold an interest in signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from AC Milan but he is not their only option, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the newly-promoted side that are yet to score a point in their first ever Serie A season still could make an approach for the French midfielder.

They have had an extremely busy window with players such as Matteo Pessina, Stefano Sensi and Andrea Petagna all joining the Brianza who are owned by former Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi.

Bakayoko is one of two more physical midfielders that Monza are looking at signing after they have agreed the loan deal for Nicolo Rovella from Juventus.

The other is William Carvalho from Real Betis. They are also searching for a winger who can play on both sides as well as a new striker, with ex-Inter forward Mauro Icardi heavily linked for many weeks.
