Moretto: Lukaku offered to Milan but Roma are leading the race

By Oliver Fisher -

Yet another source has claimed that Romelu Lukaku has been offered to AC Milan as his entourage look to find him a new club.

After Gianluca Di Marzio’s report earlier today suggested Milan could try to sign Lukaku on loan, the Evening Standard also believe that the Rossoneri are monitoring developments closely.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Chelsea are open to accepting a loan deal for Lukaku, as long as there is a loan fee involved. It is Roma that are the best placed team in the race at the moment.

There have been direct contacts between clubs. The Belgian, before leaving, would have to renegotiate his contract to lower his salary. Lukaku was offered to several teams, including Barcelona, but he is not an option for them.

Moretto adds that the 30-year-old was offered to Milan, but does not specify what the response was from the management. What is clear though is that Lukaku no longer wants to go to Juventus, with that option having vanished.

  1. I like how nobody wants Lukaku and its a week left of the transfer window..
I’d also add that we have not had much luck with Belgians. Def a no no this guy

  2. He offers himself to everyone just like a cheap bitch as he is. We already have Origi who is not any worse than this little biaaatch.

  3. When he was at anderlecht i really hoped we would have gotten him but those days are long gone. There is no doubt though in my view that he would be able to offer something to the squad but it comes at too high a cost and he also seems like a player with the potential of destabilizing the locker room.
