AC Milan are keeping a close eye on the Racing Club de France talent Yanis Messaoudi, and they are the team ‘closest’ to securing his services, according to a report.
In addition to adding experience to the first team this season, through the signings of Granit Xhaka and Luka Modric among others, work is also ongoing to bolster the youth teams. As always, Geoffrey Moncada and his scouting department seem to have various names on their radar.

One of them, according to Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, is Yanis Messaoudi who currently plays for Racing Club de France. Born in 2009, he’s very young still but he’s a player that many have spoken highly of already, as the journalist states.
Some have even compared him to Leny Yoro, who had his breakthrough at Lille before joining Manchester United (Milan were interested in him then too). As Moretto states, at least for the time being, the Rossoneri are ‘closest’ to securing Messaoudi’s services despite some competition.
It remains to be seen if negotiations can enter an even more concrete and advanced stage, but it’s a name that Milan are keeping a close eye on. For the first team, however, all eyes are on Parma’s Giovanni Leoni with an offer already drafted.
If you won’t bring in useful names then focus on thinning the squad. What’re you bringing him in for? So you can loan him and loan him till he regrets the move? Didn’t you sign Silvano from Ajax to maybe make the jump into the first team in about six months but where’s the guy now? How about that Reveyre goalkeeper guy we signed from France? I bet he wishes he signed an extension. He’d probably be the starting goalkeeper for his team by now. But then again can’t these guys see that it’s not the Milan of the 90s? They have the internet so why can’t they use it to see how youngsters fare in Milan to at least evaluate their chances?
Bro thin the squad or use what you’ve got within the squad and stop with the talent hunt. It hasn’t helped us in recent years.

They don’t have a plan. Their aim is to sell for capital gains. If, and it’s a big if, it works out then they get their CV wet and all the pat on the backs that come with it…..but still sell within a year or two of any sort of good form. Otherwise if they don’t work out, they can sell at a high enough price albeit small to still call it a capital gain. Rinse and repeat.
Sure, that’s the idea. Sign players for a few hundred grand, let them rot in youth teams, end up in Serie B and sell them for a €100,000 profit.
