AC Milan and Inter are both in the running for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic but La Viola have no intention of selling, a report claims.
Milenkovic is a target that seems to be linked with Milan on an almost daily basis now and has been for some time, as it is seemingly no secret that the Rossoneri management are in the market for a new centre-back who is young but could eventually become a pillar of the side moving forward.
According to La Nazione (via MilanLive), Inter joined the race recently too, but in the meantime Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso is working to avoid losing the 22-year-old.
The paper adds how Commisso has no intention of letting Milenkovic leave this summer, and instead has resumed contact with his agent – Fali Ramadani – regarding the renewal of his current contract which expires in 2022.
Instead, La Viola are willing to sell German Pezzella and make Milenkovic the new pillar of the team.
